High Beamz BIO

Chris Zanardi on electric guitar toured with Five Eyed Hand for years with stops at High Sierra Music Festival, Las Tortugas Music Festival, Terrapin Crossroads, Sweetwater Music Hall, Hopmonk Tavern, KPIG video shoots, Crystal Bay Casino, Bobolink & For The Funk of it Music festival. Now "Z" has been touring The High Beamz  performing all over the West Coast since 2010. From San Francisco to Seattle and everywhere in between. 

High Beamz is a collective of top-call, full time musicians who play in multiple, popular ensembles in the greater Bay Area (Garaj Mahal, Crosseyed & Painless, Melvin Seals, Freestone Peaches) The band is always led by veteran guitarist, composer & band leader Chris Zanardi. 

High Beamz plays an upbeat, energetic mix of funky friendly originals, blues, jazz, and covers that range from Talking Heads to the Beatles. Augmented by improvisation and vibrant interplay between musicians at the highest levels. Zanardi’s long-lasting relationships and friendships with the Bay Area always turn a High Beamz show into a musical family-reunion and a dance party of epic proportions.

High Beamz has had the pleasure of playing such venues as, Boom Boom Room, The Independent, Heavenly Village, Moes Alley, Felton Music Hall, Crazy Horse in Nevada City, and multiple stops at the Goodfoot lounge in Portland,OR.

Along the way many elite musicians have joined High Beamz, Fareed Haque (Sting), James Whiton(TomWaits),Kai EcKhardt (John McGlaughlin/Garaj Mahal), Eric Levy (Night Ranger) Jeremy Hoenig (Melvin Seals), Jordan Feinstein, Murph Murphy(New Monsoon), Mike Meagher, Cecil P'nut Daniels, Will Bernard, Eric McFadden, Sam Flot and many more.
